Well, you do know about I. King Jordan? According to Wikipedia, he served for four years in the U.S. Navy. The Wikipedia article did not elaborate further than that, though.
Serious? I never thought that I.King Jordan has served four years in Navy. Did he go to the war? I think not. He became Deaf due to the motorcycle accident. Please Correct me if I am wrong. :-)
Yes, there was one during my time at Gallaudet University during 1970's. His name is Ken McBroom. He became deaf during the Vietnam war. I was thinking of him when I saw your Vlog. A nice way to remember him.
Hi Diane ! My son came back home from army three weeks ago because he had his ankles pain so army let him go home since he was at army almost three years . My son had many friends from army so They went to war but my son found out that his heartbreak to lose his two dead friends from war today. I felt bad for my son lose friends army, please pray for every soldiers would be coming home from war soon . GOD BLESS TO AMERICAN SOLDIERS!
Disabilities amongst 12,000+ veterans now range from losing legs, arms, blindness, and mental breakdowns. However, I have yet to read the mention of deafenedness in the media. Out of curiosity, we should e-consult TV's nightly news anchors if any veteran has lost hearing from the Iraq war.
I have my uncle who owns the club, He was veteran of Vietnam War for three years, After the war he realized his hearing started to decline down so he know some sign language.
