I understand you completely. You said it all. We even educated them but they still do it again and again. I don't get this at all.

Wow you have 8 sisters and brothers. What a big family...

HI Diane -

Thanks so MUCH for making a vlog about this!

I can imagine with family, and being left out, how it hurts. GOOD for you that you sign and your sister wanted to get involved, but you kept signing with your friend.

Sometimes we have to SHOW them how it feels......being left out! Thanks Diane!! :-)

We didn't attend my great aunt's 100th Birthday party in CA on Sat because we always felt we were out of place during the family gatherings. I had always took some walk during the break because I didn't like to look idiot when sitting with them at work and being left out.

Hi Diane, I cracked up what you shared on your vlog...oh you're hearing, I am SO sorry to hear that...we ought to do that, see how puzzled they will be and thinking we are nuts...give them a few minutes to think...then ask them if they were thinking we're nuts for saying that...if they say yes...see that's how WE feel...we are FINE as we are...You did great on this vlog. Thanks for making me laugh!!

Well, I don't understand very many of the signs here, but I get the feeling that the main point is that I should be embarrased to be a hearing person?

I caught:
-Some talking too close to you
-some saying they are sorry you are deaf

Were there other offenses I did not catch?
