For RidorLive - re: Paris Hilton .. It is NOT Deaf related but ....
It is not Deaf related but ..... I don't feel sorry for Paris who is in prison because she violates the probation. Paris must be treated the same as many of us. Paris can survive there -- Psych and Medication services are there for her.
Think of Deaf and Hard of Hearing inmates with a lack of communication. It is unfortunate. I don't feel bad for them but the lack of communication accessibility is my biggest concern for them.
Just learn that Paris informed her lawyers to drop the appeal and accepts the responsibility of her own behavior. I am very impressed with her. I hope she will learn a lesson in a big time.

Psyc and meds are not always there for them. About ten years ago, changes have been made but not all facilities are good at that. There was a documentary on that. This is an area that needs to be looked at. Other than that, yeah, Paris should be treated the same as anyone, celebrity or not.
If you have the kind of money that Paris Hilton has, you can get anything you want in jail!
Don't kid yourselves. You grease someone's palm and it is miraculous what can take place.
She changed her tune because now she is "street smart" and knows how to manipulate the system.

Lantana - Oh yea I am not too surprised but at least she is in jail. She cannot share a room with the inmate. She must be isolated from others due to safety issues however ... Yes she can find the way to manipulate the system -- Give her privilege of making phone calls, a blackberry pager, makeup stuffs are and many more! Who knows. Like her grandfather bribed one of the sheriffs to let her out. (unfortunately she was sent back to jail) I am sure he will do that for the prisoner guards to go easy on her.

Diane: I care less about the fact that the jail has services that can be used for Paris Hilton. I am aware of such services like that but my entry focuses on the fact that she is being OSTRACIZED for who she is!
She is hounded by everyone else in particular just because she is Paris Hilton!
Many people wanted to know who she slept with, where she lived, what kind of jobs she hold and what did she do last night!
That reminds me of Deaf people who attempt to cajole my siblings, parents and close friends to find out what I do in real life. I aim to keep my life private, thank you very much.
That was the SOLE reason why I can empathize her.

Rider: I think she is a slut ... out drinking, partying etc etc Just like a Simple life because Paris can get what she wants because she is a billionnaire! Driving drunk is very dangerous to her herself and the drivers on the road. What if Paris crashed into your loved one's car and he or she get killed? Will you be on her side? I think not. Paris was not thinking clearly. Paris is way too immature for her age. How sad.

I'm sorry you did not get several stares at any functions in the past but calling Paris a slut just because she can enjoy what she wanted is not appropriate.
If she harms or kills someone else when she's drunk, she is responsible for her actions. I'd be fine with it. But the point is that calling her a slut is entirely offensive and sexist.

I don't care about Paris Hilton. She was big troublemaker and spoil brat girl. You don't know why is Paris Hilton's famous because of her grandfather who had his own Hilton Hotels everywhere in the world. That's why he was so famous. I was so sick of Paris think herself so beautiful and party girl for every times. Now look at Paris had big troubles. I don't be surprised and glad that she learned her lessons.

As for Ridor....I don't agree with his views at all. I have NEVER wanted to visit his blog.
At this point, Paris was very irresponsible for taking care of her driver's license. She KNEW it. She is an adult, not a child. However, she came from the well-to do family.....she did not learn to do her own things. She is really a childish.
Putting her into a jail have taught her the hardest lesson. She ALREADY admitted that.
Ridor DID NOT read Paris' statement recently.....and her history. She got her three years probation and got fined $1,500 with the DUI BEFORE the police caught her and found some paperwork in her compartment. She was still on the suspension in her drivers license!

People have different perspective of how a person is spoiled rotten. Paris is obviously well-loved by her parents, she's even lucky that her parents are on her side and help her out. I also think her parents want her to experience and let her make her own decisions. If my child had to be arrested and put in jail, of course I would be heartbroken. Too many people tend to think that children nowdays are spoiled brats.
Paris is just like any other young adult who may experiment bad side of things, they may err, they assume too much, and other things. Experience and wisdom will teach them along in the way.
In our generation,we were lucky that police didn't come down hard on people who drank and drive in the past but now with more laws being passed, police are being more strict and putting people in jails.
Its bad enough that Paris is getting this kind of attention whereas if she was poor or middle class, she probably wouldn't have received all that attention. She is put in a spotlight and probably resents it very much so she will try to do bad things to rebel against this. If she was a goody-goody two shoes, I don't know if she would have received this kind of spotlight or not. Who knows?
WEll, you brought it up. RIDOR LIVE... Paris Hilton is not DEAF realted. Ridoe was tryingto make a point about himself as a popular deaf blogger. Therefore your posting in DEAF READ is not Video related. It should go to DEAF TV, VLOG related. So there!
