TTY or TDD?

Which do you prefer? TTY (Teletypewriter) or TDD (Telephone Device for the Deaf)? Inputs and Pros or Cons are welcomed.

Deaf people in USA now use Video Phone and this is more secure than TTY

TTY is better to sign with cuz you dont have to put lots of energy flipping your finger up (too much work, lol).

Once time I shared with Seekgeo several month ago why I am still keep my tty. due to my daughter's asthma for emegergency. it kind of misused it since Video Relay Service is so popular.
TTY/TDD is same we always say TTY all the time. " TDD Device"
I prefer to call TTY will always just fine.

Funny I recently read the NAD about TTY who sued two resturant about TTY relay service, etc.

I guess they are not use it anymore.

you are right most of time the hearing people say TDD.. I know it is TDD is not really useful.
becuse of ADA passed law with TDD or TDD. They would not know abut VRS, Video RElay Service.
